Our client is a fantastic space hardware company in Oxfordshire and Eurospace Resourcing are leading the recruitment campaign for a permanent Products Assurance Manager to join their dynamic and growing team.  This is a fantastic opportunity to join a market leading company that are excelling in this fascinating industry.

Main duties

  • Responsible for delivering PA function across multiple projects
  • Materials and process selection against PA and technical requirements
  • EEE selection and procurement
  • Write project PA documentation, e.g. Declared lists, RFW, RFD, FMECA, Derating analysis, Reliability analysis etc.
  • Chair PA boards and reviews, e.g. NRB, ARR, MRR, TRR
  • Provide PA monitoring to MAIT activities
  • Main point of contact with customer PA function
  • Support to Senior management in delivering the Quality function to business
  • Support business development team in preparing PA/Quality aspects of proposals

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Strong Bachelor’s or Master’s degree-level in relevant subject or HNC minimum with very strong relevant experience
  • Demonstrate a common sense/pragmatic and logical approach to problem solving –ability to find simple solutions to complex problems
  • Demonstrable experience delivering projects against ECSS & MIL standards
  • Good understanding of mechanical, thermal and radiation tolerance properties of engineering materials and their practical implementation
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software
  • Hands-on practical experience in mechanical engineering field would be a distinct advantage
  • Experience of working within a regulated industry would be an advantage – Aerospace, Nuclear, Medical
  • The ability to quickly understand new technical concepts is essential
